Grapefruit Seed Extract is a natural preservative and can help stop the growth of harmful microorganisms such as fungus or bacteria and extend its shelf life. 

Vitamin E is an antioxidant that will prevent oils from going rancid and adds shine-boosting hydration.

Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate is a non-toxic, naturally derived plant-based ingredient from coconut oil.  It is one of the mildest and gentlest cleansers.

Cetearyl alcohol is an emollient that is considered an effective ingredient for soothing and healing dry skin. Not only is it considered safe and nontoxic for use on the skin and hair, but it’s also not drying or irritating like other types of alcohol.  It is also used in cosmetics as a stabilizer to thicken an emulsion and keep it from separating, and as a foaming agent. It is made by combining fatty alcohols from such vegetable sources as coconut fatty alcohol.

Behentrimonium Chloride is the name for a conditioning wax that is derived from the coltza plant.
